Tribal Force America’s First All Native Super Hero Comic
Why is Tribal Force important? For the better part of my life I have had the awesome opportunity to work with Survivors of Child Molestation and Violent Youth offenders. In that time I realized just how far removed we (Indigenous Peoples) have drifted so far from our heritage. I am not here to point a blaming finger at government, Tribal councils or Parents. I just know what I saw out in the field working with these beautiful kids.
Our culture is our Salvation. When the thought of Tribal Force came into mind it was because I felt so lost so defeated against what was happening to our children. I wanted to contribute to the battle. I wanted to be a warrior and take care of my people. Tribal Force is my way of contributing to the battle to protect our youth and preserve our culture in a medium that is easily understood to all that read it.
The main character Nita Nakia is a Dine girl who is a Survivor of Child Molestation. Another Character Gabe Medicinedog (Hunkpopa Sioux ) has Fetal Alcohol Effect.
Though these subject matters have dissuaded Publishers and licencors from taking on Tribal Force I will not stop till I complete my goal of putting America’s First All Native Super hero book out there. Even if it is one issue a year through my own pocket. I will need the assistance of all my Fans. friends and family as this en devour is momentous and challenging. It is difficult to ask for aid but I must put my ego to the side and do so to give Tribal Force a fighting chance.
I appreciate your help, the help of your companies in what ever way, shape or form the aid comes in! ( A first step in helping can be Liking this Page and sharing with your friends! ) Join the call to bring America’s First All Native American Super Hero team to reality!! Thank you!
